Where have I slandered Witchdoctor?
I own the Witchdoctor chrome oil dipstick. Witchdoctor went to the trouble making a video bragging about how it has two O-rings and does not leak oil trust them they have sold a bunch, it is right on their own video.
The truth is the two O-rings do not stop the oil from working its way past them and it collects in the cap until it starts to drip on the exhaust system. Cost of the Witchdoctor dipstick? 149 dollars when shipping is added.
Where is the slander? Other than the false claim by Witchdoctor in their own video claiming the dipstick does not leak oil everything is the truth.
As for vendors, the Victory community whines about lack of vendors yet if you just take a few minutes you can really find an awful lot of vendors who are making parts for Victory motorcycles.
In answer to your instructions on how to add oil with the Witchdoctor dipstick, don't you think that having to take the two piece dipstick completely off every time you have add oil defeats the purpose of a automotive style slide in dipstick that screws into the only inlet to add oil?
What if you are out on the road and need to add oil? should every one carry a 1 inch SAE wrench or a large cresent wrench to remove the entire slide in dipstick assembly?
Poor design is just plain old poor design no matter how much you want to defend Witchdoctor.
Here is a link to a thread where I found 8 different vendors who make parts that fit Victory motorcycles. https://www.victoryforums.com/showthr...t=47610&page=2
And that was without looking hard.
