Default Different Brands of VFCs ???

Searching on eBay comes up with Wiseco, Dobeck, Bully brands of VFC. These all look the same. Are they? And what's the difference between them and the one Lloydz sells?

From what I have seen (hearsay), Lloyd has spent considerable time with the Dobeck folks to tune the VFC specifically for Victory bikes; the others are much more generic.

Others who have more knowledge on this, please chime in.

Don't know that I have any more knowledge but I'm of the same opinion.. I thought I read somewhere in a few places he customized either the internal "mapping" or parameters or algorithm etc specifically from his own tuning work with the device on the Vic 100/106 drive-train.

I'm running his VFC III (which Lloydz unit is the only "VFC") and love it for simple plug and play running on a mildly modded (stage 1ish performance filter and RPW exhaust) High-Ball. Runs like a freight train. It does have a good bit of decel popping which I would like to alleviate. Your mileage may vary depending on exhaust choice. The RPW slash 2 into 2 pipes are notorious.

In my own personal opinion, there's only two ways to go.. Either the VFC III or the PCV either autotuned or dyno-mapped. If/when I do cams and intake upgrades, I'll go the PCV route.

2013 Hard-Ball - Lloydz VM1-DR cams, air filter, timing wheel, PCV, properly tuned at KMC

seeing how Lloydz works morning noon and night developing horse power for the Vic I would think his Turner would work great for you.
If you ever need help you can call him. The other guys who knows what kinda help you'll get.
Ask your dealer about getting one maybe you can save on shipping

That is what was sorta confusing me ... the pics on eBay all looked the same ... couldn't see a brand name (although I didn't look that hard).

So, if Dobeck makes them and Lloydz tweaks them, are the one's that Lloydz sell branded with his logo?

vj ... I agree

Add the Ness Big Shot and you pretty much have all of them listed. They are all made by Dobeck and most if not all are exactly the same with the exception of the label.
If you are active or retired military (and possibly police or fire dept) Dobeck offers a really good discount. I bought one that way and tuned per KevinX instructions, it does what I needed it to do and as retired military I think I paid around $145.

Has anyone ever tried a generic Dobeck against a VFCIII?

I know the Cobra unit was tested(once) and everyone lambasted that.

Has anyone ever ran these two back to back to see if everyone's assumptions are accurate?
