Question chroming parts

Has anyone tried chroming parts as opposed to buying new chrome ones such as triple trees, front ends, swingarm etc..? to make your KP, Vegas, judge, look like a premium.

I haven't priced replacement parts, but I do know that quality chrome plating is very expensive, especially in a one-off situation. Chrome plating is like most everything else, you get what you pay for. If you do decide to have your parts chromed, shop around and find a shop with a good reputation. You could start by going to Hemings.com and checking out the ads for chrome shops. That's where the car restoration guys go.

Neither one of you say where you live!
There might be a plater in your own town. California has a lot of plating shops out there.
