Default Surpized- Victory guy?

Ran into a guy with a 09 Hammer at a local bike/car show last night. I was very surpized to see he had a Victory Hammer, a very nice one. His other bike is the BMW 1600 six cylinder. Talk about two diffent rides. He said he had originally bought the Hammer for a long trip bike, he now says it is more of a bar hopper, the BMW of course is the distance runner for him. Another guy I know came up and told me he had sold all his bikes. He then said he rented a Vision and he and his wife really liked it. Sounds like he is shopping for a Vision now. I know he has had few Harleys and I believe BMWs also. Victorys advertising does say you ride one and you'll buy one. I've rode several models, but I can only afford one. For a around the town bike I would like the old Judge I believe it could be a blast to run errands on, but no bags, have to get small items.

Buckeye, Arizona(USA) 2011 Victory Cross Roads, Black police bag guards, black engine guards, black handle bars, Triumph Tiger mirrors, Triumph hand grips, set speedo/tach back 5" , adjustable timing wheel, Lloyzz Fuel Programmer III & air filter. Modified exhaust, made stock into 2 into 1. MRA windshield, Rotated front fender forward, relocated ignition switch, Bad Ace Fuel Tank Risers, Fat front tire.

I ride my Vision daily. It is a great distance runner and I saw that on my round trip to Niagara Falls from central Illinois. On the other hand, the bags and trunk are very handy for quick trips to the store, and you never need to try to figure out how to carry something. Anything short of 3 grocery bags and I don't sweat it at all. I have room for it.

Present ride - 2013 Victory Vision, black, ATW at +3, Lloydz air filter and adjustable intake, PC5, 30,xxx miles

My High-Ball will be the second time I was short sighted and failed to realize you gotta be able to haul stuff. First time I did this was an 04 Fatboy which I eventually added bags to.

Had I done it again I would have gotten a hard-ball or cross bike and not looked back. I do absolutely love riding the high-ball but I'm going to have to either run a roll bag on the back or take a huge hit, sell her and get a bagger. Chopper/bobber seat position be damned. It's a trade off I'm not thrilled about as the High-Ball fits me like no other bike I've sat on.

Any Hard-baller or bagger owner out there wanna swap?

BS. Why would you sacrifice the feel of your High-Ball because it has no bags? Run a biker roll or get some bags... I would go with hard bags and Kingpin rear fender. You will have the sweetest highball around.

Agreed.. I've got a saddlemen roll bag that's served well, and just for small junk I'll have two leatherworks tool bags to mount up. So it's not all that completely un-packable. Since I sold off the sissybar and rack, I'm considering just bungee buttons on the struts with it mounted to the rear seat maybe. Looking into that.

Thought about that very thing. Yes, I'm persnickety.. I keep thinking you'd also have to skirt out the front fender as well so to look consistent.

That would be a cool bike going with stock matte black matched up to the tank. She wouldn't be a bobber anymore, but would make for a cool matte black skirted high-pin / king-ball lookin' scoot.

I think you should do it... Maybe throw a Bob Dron fairing on it and some patrol hardbags from Tsukaya. The High-Ball is so low right from stock and handles way better than any bagger I have ever ridden.
