Contemplating a highball
I've got a deep lust for a new high ball with some nice bassani pro street turnouts, a k&n, and a fuel pack of some sort.
My local dealers have a couple of them in stock, but my dealers are notorious for horrible service. That's my first apprehension.
My next issues are as follows:
1.) turning the bike to two up capable. My little lady isn't a big rider, but would like to go on a little putt every now and then. How big of a pain in the ass would this be?
2.) problems with victory build quality. I've read great things, but also some stuff that bothers me, such as the rev shut off. Where you'd rev the engine at speed and the bike senses it and goes into run away mode, shutting the engine off. It seems to be hit and miss from bike to bike, and even with stacks of aftermarket tuning and parts, it's not fixable.
3.) then there are the stories of porous heads leaking oil.
4.) lastly there's the issues with wet riding. I live in an awfully wet state, and I've read tales of some of the electronics being less than water tight, and shorting out.
I don't know how many of these stories are just people blowing smoke, and how many are actual concerns. I'll leave it to you guys to set me straight.
