Default How should they be punished?

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/511/17...Baja-1000.aspx

"Kurt Caselli Dies During 2013 Baja 1000"

"Unconfirmed reports on Twitter initially indicated that the accident was due to a booby trap set-up by locals in an effort to disable competitors. After KTM recovered Caselli's bike however, the team found indications of a collision with an animal, "which apparently caused the crash.""

I've heard of this shit. Pouring diesel on corners, placing transparent tape or string between trees to dislodge a rider from his bike.

WTF is wrong with these motherfuckers?!

Ripping their skin off bit by bit to insert salt pelets seems almost too kind.

Ah, the same method you use to figure out politics, go with the sound bite and ignore the facts.

True, there is no evidence. But if you've been around motorsickling very long, this probaly isnt't the first you've heard of this type of assine behavior.

Many of those same types flow across the border on a daily basis, thanks to a government with other priorities.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."
2017 Spyder F3 Limited - keeps this old guy in the wind and riding with friends.

I've ridden in several hare and hound and cross country races where the local nature nazis walked the course the night before the race and put logs and tape at neck level throughout the course.

Back in IL the locals would put wire across the snowmobile trails. Long time ago so it's pretty obvious we haven't evolved much

Ummm, what has this conversation got to do with facts?

Gazillions of riders enjoy the trails on gazillions of machines every day. An assload more of them tangle with critters than do with piano wire or any other sabotage.

Just saying if you ride you are bound to tangle with a furball and yes Virginia, fatal results are part of the equation but I will not be bouncing around the hinterlands wondering if somebody put a garrot across the trail.

If you wander around in the sewer you are wise to take precautions from from methane asphyxiation. OTOH you may be a bit of a pillock if you are toting a .454 in case of

We just keep moving
