With the exception of the tire\wheel combo it's essentially the same motorcycle.....brakes, suspension, engine, frame, etc. etc.......
Do you believe the "better" ride will be solely because of the tires\wheels?
I don't see how it will be significantly different.
Ive been researching tonight and wheels, bars and styling seem to be the major difference, my 21 inch front tends to follow road grooves but looks good...the 16" front looks tough and wouldn't be as flighty , but Ive read the tyres are quite a hard compound...As to ground clearance theres really not much more, the Judge comes in at 4.7 inches....Another point Victory measure ground clearance to the bottom of the frame rail but its not the frame rail that will hit over a speed bump its the lowest part of the sump/oil pan, and thats where I measured to and there's 4.5 inch unladen and 4 1/4" (4.25", why Victory chooses to use .5 instead of half an inch is beyond me, either inches or metric please and a 10 base system of fractions is metric in my book)...bottom line SFA more clearance between the two and I wonder how it will translate to cornering clearance as in scraping the pegs (my Vegas slash pipes lower exhaust pipe scrapes too on a corner with a pillion passenger aboard)
The bars well, Id be fitting the pullback "Roller Bars' by the local to me company "Burleigh Bars" theyre being custom made for me to echo the hand position of my factory Vegas bars but in thick pipe
(1 3/4" or 2" , not quite sure which) and including the risers in the bar. Gives the bars the same beefy look as the rest of the bike.
Wonder if the standard Judge controls and cables would fit to vegas spec bar position?
As for styling my Vegas flows better in my opinion, (See Pix)
