Default This place needs a tune up

I work off of four different puters; so I know it's not just me. Everything on this site takes FOREVER, and it is a major PITA to just go to a second page

I'm not an asshole...I just type that way

I wonder why this forum doesn't show up in the motorcycle.com iPhone app. All of the other forums listed at the bottom are on there!

It's prolly due to all the advertising banners and stuff. Forums won't load till they do first.
That's how the site owners make their $$$$$....hoping you'll click and buy something from them.

You can install an add blocker on your browser. They're free, and they work. Your browsing will be faster, and the only drawback is that you won't see the colorful and entertaining banners the site's otherwise flooded with.

If you're using Firefox, here's a good add block add-on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../adblock-plus/

If you're using Chrome, here's a good add-on:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...namgkkbiglidom

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

I don't know what to say as my computers including my Xoom have no problems loading pages. They load very fast. As CrossRoads points out part of the site being free is the ads. Unfortunately there isn't much more that can be done.

My speed varies. What you need to remember your connection speed is based on a number of factors your computer, the host computer and the amount of traffic on line the and path you are connecting to and from.
