Default Getting locks matched to my key

I picked up some used CC bags last fall, now Iím looking to have the locks matched to my existing key. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks

H8 , the lock tumblers can only be changed to match you keys if the locks are "Rebuildable" A lot of these type locks are made to match a specific key "cut" then they are pressed together permanently . I recommend bringing them to your local locksmith and see what they can do . You may end up needing to use two keys , 1 bags 1 ignition , unless you are able to order new lock kits cut to your specific key "code" .

You will probably need to get the whole lock set from the dealer. Cost is $300-400 if I remember correctly.

FYI I found a place here in MN/St. Paul that matched my key to the plugs that came with my used CC bags and it only set me back $50 bucks!!!

The dealer told me $289 because they can't do it, because (they said) I will need to buy a matching key/2plugs/ignition set.

sounds like you are going to need to get a cooler for the cream cheese.

Yeah, and it will keep the lox from smelling up the side case too.
