Default taking apart a Tach

Do any of you kids know of a good way to take apart a Victory Tach? I wanna paint the chrome, without messing up the clear glass?

Thanks,

H8 , I tried this myself to no avail , I was not able to separate them before I put so much pressure on it , I thought it would explode . Others I believe have since tried it also and opted to cover the lens with tape to paint . I purchased a kewlmetal cover from Victoryonly.com for mine . Looks great and no messy painting . Different styles to choose from too . just a thought .

Did you consider keeping the chrome trim and painting only the bucket? Bucket comes off with one screw.

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
