Default House fire ! The beast made it but we lost everything

I just wanted to throw this out to the biker community. My wife, four year old son and I lost everything in a house fire on thursday June 19. We were able to salvage a lot of pictures and important items but are having to completely rebuild our lives. The house is a complete loss. ..we were renters and no insurance. My son lost all of his belongings. Toys clothes etc. We are grateful for any amount that people might be willing to contribute to help us rebuild our lives and get in to a home.

Dam sorry to hear. I just had a pipe burst in my upper bathroom a couple of months ago. The water filled up between the ceiling joist until the ceilings finally collapsed. Lost about everything too. At least you and yours made it out ok. Everything else can be replaced. Best of luck!!!

Sorry to hear this and hopefully you have a good support system around you. There is a sports saying that... "Nobody learns anything from winning but loosing ALWAYS teaches us a lesson" and as you now know, insurance should be the first thing you buy as you settle into your next place. Hope this link below will also help you move through this...

Up here in Minnesota we have had rain 20 days out of 25 this month. Our normal rain fall for the month is 4 inches last Wednesday we had 8 inches all in one night. Our rivers are over there banks and the lakes are now half way to peoples back door.
I just drained 3 ft of water out of the basement. Carpet shot chairs lamps walls and more. Insurance says no way so now I'm looking for second job and girl friend is working over time.
Sorry for your fire hope you make out
