Exclamation Dont let this happen to you ...

Well a learning moment has taught me a lesson , now I will pass it on . Yesterday while adjusting my drive belt , I was rotating my wheel and centering the belt on the rear pulley , I inadvertently caught my middle digit between the pulley and belt . It cut the end of my finger right off , from just above the base of my nail out , bone and all . My little Grandson was right there watching me work on the bike , and I feel so bad , he was so worked up and worried about his Grumpy . This happened in an instant , I knew it was bad instantly , I have been wrenching for 30 years and this is my first serious injury . Guys , please be super careful around a rotating wheel , like I said it happened in an instant and I was only spinning it by hand . I need to go see a surgeon tomorrow to get it fixed , I guess I need skin grafting and other stuff ... I just want to ride, its gorgeous out right now .

Man that stinks, I hope surgery goes well.

I adjust mine the same way except I usually have the bike running in 1st gear cause I'm too lazy to spin it by hand.

Wow!...Damn, LilMags....sorry to hear that.

Bad things sure do happen fast, don't they?

Good luck, and take care, pal.
