Smile Mitt Romney at SC Victory Dealer

On Fox News Thursday evening and Friday morning, there were vid news clips of Mitt Romney at a motorcycle dealership in Greer, SC. At first, I thought I recognized a white XC headlight/fairing in the background. The next morning, when more was shown, there was the lit Victory dealer sign on the wall and they showed an autographed hood of some sort of blue ATV (maybe Polaris). No mention of the brand dealership, except that it was Greer, SC.

Anybody here a customer there?

No mistaking the bikes in the back of this shot from this article

He must've spoken twice because here is a totally different setting but the article was about the same event.

The story also has this quote in it.
Quote:
As Mr. Romney tried to make his exit, the press pointed to a black motorcycle with orange flames fanning up the side, and suggested he hop on for a quick spin. Mr. Romney, who said that one of his sons had owned a motorcycle, laughed and shook his head.

“And maybe put on a helmet,” he joked. “Dukakis-style.”
This story identifies the dealership as Cherokee Trikes and more

BTW, I think there is a bit of a subtle message as to why he picked a Victory dealership. The last article states
Quote:
A victory in South Carolina on January 21 would put Romney well on his way to the nomination.

Default Same dealer...

But totally different setting. One I saw was crowded and you could only barely get a glimpse the white handlebar to headlight of a an XC. It was the next day that I saw the sign. thx for digging this up. Still wonder what the connection was? Maybe dealer is Republican office holder, official.

Surprised it went un-noted here for a couple of days.

Thx for taking YOUR time to notice. And, maybe it doesn't have anything to do with politics.

Nothing to do with politics? Does that mean he's there to raid dealership, fire all the workers, and sell off the inventory to line his pockets?

He might be safer as a politician!

No, it means that MY interest in posting had to do with Victory, not his politics. I would have been equally surprised had the President shown up at a Victory dealer.

I'm unaccustomed to having political sniping permitted on specialty discussion boards.

Oh grab a hanky already Gootz. I'm just funnin with ya.

After all, nothing gets me more excited than watching a political charlatan sell snake oil at a motorcycle shop. Sure it's vastly more expensive than synthetic and utterly useless, but think of the comedic possibilities such encounters may spawn.

I have to admit, Sara looks kinda sexy in Harleyware:
