Default Off Road

About a month ago, riding with friends, I was leading in an unknown backroad area, listening to tunes. Road was wet from a drizzle. Lack of foresight on my part, I approached a curve a little too fast as the sign said 20 mph. I started the curve and half way through, almost straight again, had the thought "road is wet" and decided to go off the road into bumpy grass/dirt. Kept it upright and let it slow down and got back on the road. Friend behind me said, "man why did you do that, you had the turn nicely made". It's amazing what a thought can do. Of course looking back, yeah, I would probably not have fallen on the turn, but wet roads make me nervous. I would have avoided the problem had I been more observant of the sign approaching the turn. I lucked out I guess.
Anyone have a similar experience?

Signs that tell you speed for curves are for cars.

If your scared riding in the rain like most of us just slow down thats about all you can do.

I don't think the E3's are that good of a rain tire but they have not put me down so maybe there so so

By the way vision just lean over on there tip protectors through out spark's and glide threw corners
