Maybe it's just my cynical nature- but this tells me that this dealer could not have been trying too hard- in any phase of the operation. You reap what you sow.

I suppose there could be something legit that has been killing him- a close by mega store sucking all the air out of the room for example. Or- maybe the entire store is having financial issues which still goes back to bad management usually.

2014 Judge(Havasu Red) PC-V - ATS(+4) - RPW Boom Sticks - HOHVM1-DR cams - Torque Tubes (dyno sheet) 1/4 turn throttle - OPT7 LED headlight kit - OEM bags, backrest, and W/S

I agree with JD. He had more focus on other brands. I had a local dealer here who was multi-brand including Victory. That was where I got my GoldWing parts and stuff. Went there to look at Vic, all Vics gone. Took a long time for his dealership to be removed from Vic's website.

Went by there a while ago and they've totally closed up shop.

Meanwhile, the dealer I bought my bike from is thriving. He's a Vic-only dealer (and other Polaris products).

Don't give up on Victory, they build great bikes but you will get better dealer support in the USA from Bultaco Ossa, Rupp, and Henderson.

Once Victory makes the sale, you as a consumer don't mean shit!!!!!

Lloydz PTS +4 degrees

What's weird is that's everywhere not just here and there. I know there are good dealers but the crap ones seem to outweigh the good ones.

2015 Cross Country (bought new 7/11/15)
2015 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 (bought new 4/26/17)
2006 Triumph Rocket III Classic
1/4 turn throttle ring
Tank riser
VM-1 DR cams
Timing wheel +4
Lloydz high-flow air cleaner
Bassani baffled OEM mufflers
PC-V 118hp 116tq
If it's not broke, make it better

" but you will get better dealer support in the USA from Bultaco Ossa, Rupp, and Henderson."

And that is exactly what will kill Vic...if momma-Vic doesn't get a handle on it. Particularly going head to head with H/D. H/D dealer support, accessories , lifestyle...etc. is what keeps their loyalty to a large part.....[IMO]

When I went to a local multi-dealer...it was almost like they were 'steering' me away from Vic. Pointing me toward Kawasaki & Yamaha...and even KTM. I bought mine from a private sale, set about getting the hard bags ordered for it, from that same dealer. All I heard was bitchin' bout Vic this & that, why the hell they do that & this...not good in front of a customer.

If I had not been head strong in wanting to try one ?...I might have gone another way, when I was looking at new ?

Bought my big girl from a multi-dealer in Mackay, QLD.
All they cared about was the dollar (a little bit too much) - even had the bike marked up above Vic's RRP which i had to 'negotiate' back down. tried to sell me Boardwalk bags for $2k AUD, safe to say they've never heard from me again.

Dropped into Brisbane Vic once they opened up and have since been to Melbourne's Vic shop, both were fantastic. Vic brisbane got my 3k total worth of accessories, shame they weren't around when i bought my bike.
I recommend them to everyone who comes up to ask about my bike.. and in central qld it's every second rider who sees you at a petrol station.

every multi-dealer is going to push whoever gives them the biggest kickback, the rest just set them up as an advertising point to get more wallets in the door. Shame in this case it's Vic who has suffered but we'll all be better off once the wheat is sorted from the chaff!

2013 Victory Boardwalk
PC5 + Autotune
Victory genuine straight exhaust
Lloydz airbox & IAC
Lloydz Timing wheel
