Default Pulled the plugs Sunday

You want your plugs to look bad do a macro shot then crop that shot. They looked good until I magnified them. The color looks OK.

This is with 2932 miles. Vic recommends 2500 on my 2004 Vegas.
Factory recommended NGK CPR6EB-9

I have an oil sample out to Blackstone checking the Rotella T 15w-40. We'll see how oil at $3.48 per qt stacks up against the pricey stuff. I'll post the report when it comes in.

Front plug

Rear plug

Please do give us a report on the oil analysis. You made your point with those photos...you're starting a thread, aren't you? =)

Interesting pics. They do look worse when magnified like that. The plugs themselves look ok though. No rounding on the post edges or the L part of it that I can see. Be sure to use anti-seize when you put the back in.

I'm interested in the oil analysis too.

Yeah. Ma Vic says oil changes at 2500 but I think that's overly cautious. I'm thinking 3500-4000 with today's oils should be ok but we'll see when the analysis comes in I guess.

The heat range on the rear plug is perfect. You can tell by mark on the ground strap. http://members.uia.net/pkelley2/sparkplugreading.html

I do use anti-seize that's what you're seeing in the threads.
I'll post up the analysis as soon as I get it.
