Default XCT oil light

Happened today for the first time. After I shut the bike down the red oil light came on for about 5 seconds. No other dash lights did. Oil is good, on start up light goes off as advertised. Anybody have this happen to them or know what's up with it. Thanks

Not sure I understand but when I hit the kill switch the oil light stays on until I turn the key off.

Default Seen the light!

If the light comes on after you hit the kill switch it is just doing its job. The oil pressure sender senses that there is no oil pressure because the engine stopped turning, thus no oil pressure.

Is your oil light an incandescent or led?
If its an led, I would suspect your seeing
a capacitor bleeding off. Leds draw next
to nothing for power.

Thanks guys, there is no problem with the bike. It only happens if I use the kill switch. If I use the key only light doesn't come on. Thanks
