Question Question About Exhaust Wrap

I wanted to wrap my pipes with exhaust wrap. Basically for no other reason than the look of it. I have one question. I would like to keep the covers on the exhaust because i would like the look of the larger diameter pipe and I also want to keep the last few inches of the exhaust black after i wrap them.

My question is can i put the exhaust wrap over the covers or will this cause any issues??

Also, should 50ft be enough??

thank you

Normally the wrap covers the pipe not the shields, if that is what you are talking about. Then to figure out how much you need, lets say the pipe is 3" around X 5' it would take at least 21 foot plus over lapping. . You have to consider over lap. Are you going to half way over lap? This is up to you. Hope this helps..

Looks ,,, may look odd, but that is up to you. Try one if you don't like it
