Default Overdrive Pulley for 92/5

Searching the archives seems like most people like/recommend the overdrive pulley, but I can't find anywhere that has a good review oh how it performs in all gears. For those of you out there with this mod I would like to hear how it performs in all gears specifically in the following....

1) 1st gear off the line
2) downshifting into 2nd for a turn
3) How big of a difference does it really make at highway speeds?
4) How does it do at backroad speeds (45-60ish)

Any other qualitative or quantitative comments would be greatly appreciated.

I had my OD pulley installed at the same time I had the engine built so some of my thoughts might be related to the engine rather than the pulley. I wish it could have been installed seperately so I could have gotten a better comparison.

1) 1st gear off the line
My bike gets off the line really fast but most likely because of the engine. I do think that I have to throttle up more and maybe slide the clutch just a hair more when I am starting in traffic.

2) downshifting into 2nd for a turn
I suck at downshifting and usually ride the clutch through the turn. I haven't noticed much of a difference with the pulley.

At 70 mph my rpms are down around 300-350 from what they used to be. I still have some torque available but that is most likely due to the engine. I'm not really sure what it would be like with just 92 ci.

I find myself riding in 4th gear in this speed range. In fact, I ride in 4th gear a lot more now. At 60 in 4th gear, I am still somewhere around 3000 or so.

I am happy with it and think it was worth the money. I would have done it earlier myself if I had the correct tools but it requires a 48mm socket (I believe).
