Default Dyno search in NJ

So I decided to look around for a dyno tuner in North Jersey. I headed to Spencer's Cycle in the next town over from me.

I asked if they had a dyno, sweet they did. But he asked what I was riding. I said Victory, his reply was classic. Oh..... we....dont... do .......thooose. All slow and shet like his brain blew a circuit. Im like damn and engine is an engine dont matter the name on it. I told him the tuner I had and explained the lights and modes. He wants me to bring the instructions and it will 125.00 /hour.

I had a another question and sealed his fate. Does your dyno tune with A/f R. Reply. NOPE, we tune for max power. Max power doesn't mean that engine will run right on the street for anything longer that 1/4 mile run in my book. I just walked out the door

You can't be that far from Lloydz...

Or... these guys travel around. Schedule on Lloydz website or you could call.

Well worth the drive to have Kyle tune it, I assure you! Fully custom mapped PC-III AND a quick throttle installed for $310 on my bike, it has never run better, and it has never gotten gas mileage this good either. If it cost twice that and was twice as far away, I'd still say it was a bargain!

Ok... so what the phuck else do you tune with if not A/F ratio? I'm..... just..... curious....

My guess would be just tune the crap out of it till u get the highest numbers. But that isnt always good for street use. Like, my R/C nitro truck I could mad power out of the engine but that meant it would be super lean. Did it once and fried my motor, didnt even make the main. Ok, difference cycle to r/c nitro but engine is an engine lol

Lloyd is about 1.5 hours from me. I was going to take it to him during my last vaca but money was tight. I figure if I can find a dyno near me I could do it easier. RI is way to far.

I mean I only have thor pipes and stage 1 air box and stage 1 flash, IAV and VFC3. Seat of the pants I can only get so far.

I bought the MTX-L wideband meter to help but, any thing off idle jumps from 13.6 to 14.6 roughly.

I might try the AFR meter 1 more time before I ebay it

Damnit, man! I'll ride 300 miles for a donut and coffee...
It seems you don't want the bike tuned badly enough to go out of your way or commit funds to it.

Yes, you should definitely have some local meathead who knows nothing about and has zero experience tuning Victory motorcycles have a go at your bike, because it's always better to half-ass something than to suffer through 3 hours of riding your motorcycle.

Lol easy there, I rode 3 hours for the iav. It's time of from work tours the issue. Lose a days pay to spend equal or more cash doesn't figure out good in the wallet lol.
