Unhappy fuel additives

Ok, This has already been discussed but I missed it I'm sure. What is the best "Fuel Additive " if you think you may have bought bad gas??

Run to harbor freight and get a $7 transfer pump and pump it into a gas can for use in the lawnmower. You should be able to get Pure gas at one of the Marinas close by to run.

+1 on replacing with fresh gas. If the gas presently in your tank is more than a month old and does not have a stabilizer in it, the volatility has diminished and won't ignite well. The only thing you want to put into gas is a stabilizer if you're not going to be using that engine for a month or more.

Nothing will fix bad gas. You have to replace it. Stabilizers are good for storing gas but will not fix bad gas. As suggested earlier, get a pump and siphon as much out as you can. But don't mess up your lawnmower by using the bad gas in it.
