Default airbox 2008 kingpin

I have a Stage 1 kit on my kingpin. They gave me the little chrome vents to stick on, but do nothing. Where are you guys drilling holes to open up the airbox for more easy breathing. What does this entail? Please advise. Also will I need to finally go to a fuel controller or can I stay with the stage 1 map? i already have my o2 sensors disconnected. Just looking for a little more umph! Thanks in advance.
