Default Power interruption

While performing a routine hard acceleration run My bike stumbled at around 4500 rpm in 2nd gear. It happened twice in a row immediately as if some one shut off the kill switch. I got off the throttle and rode it for a few miles with no more incidence. Got out on the open highway and decided to get on it again and no problems. pulled clean to 5800 in 4 gears.
Any thoughts? Circuit breaker? Moisture?

Check and tighten battery terminals. If that fails to cure the problem, replace the breaker located just off the positive terminal with something like this:
