Default Correct Victory Wiring Connectors - Cycle Terminal.com has them

Just wanted to let everyone know that

http://www.cycleterminal.com/metri-pack-150.html

has the correct Metri-pack 150 series connectors for Victory Motorcycles and they also sell the correct crimping tool as well. Joe's is a great guy that ships fast! I am not affiliated but I have bought stuff from Joe several times and it is always at my door in 2-3 days!

I recently built an Interface harness for a rear brake light flasher for my 09 Vegas using the 6-pin male and female Metri-Pack connectors. I hate cutting into factory harness's and so I built a small M-F harness with the flasher connected so that should the flasher ever fail, you can just unplug it and put everything back to stock!

Hey, are these JWPS connector http://www.cycleterminal.com/jst-jwpf.html same as used for the Victory turn signals and for the i-pod connector in the rear baggs? Just want to be sure before I pull the trigger. Also is there another inexpesive crimp tool for these connectors?

GREAT SITE!!!!! they are going to get some of my hard earned cash!

Inexpensive crimping tool?
Trust me...spend the 32$.
I'm an Aircraft Mechanic and my crimpers were 132$ 25 years ago I shudder to think what they cost today They are however certified to make the crimp stronger than the wire.

Please don't use the cheap O crimpers you buy at the Auto parts store, they totally suck. I just rewired a 91 HD and they had those crimps all over it. The guy brought it to me because there tons of electrical issues. Those cheap crimps and someone who couldn't solder and knew nothing about electricity WERE the issues.

I got to the "F^@K IT" zone and ripped it all out and just rewired it all. I built a schematic for it so the next fool(probably me ) that works on it won't be working blind like I was.
I love working on electrical problems, yeah, I know, I'm an idiot but for some reason I just "get it".

Thanks for the site web addy....i have had 4 wires come out of my harnesses this yr...and let me tell you they are a pita to put back in without the proper tools. This coming winter i will be soldering all the wires to the tabs with a dab of solder to hold them before installing them into the plugs. A pita job i know but...having the wiring come apart on the road is no fun either.

Something like this is an alternative if one is inclined to do some soldering...nothing can come apart and it is still waterproof. It would require a lot of patience to do the tourpack and accessories plugs but, no more wires coming apart http://www.delcity.net/store/8!Way-S...nnector/p_8896
