Default CCT CB unit help??

Bought my CCT back in May and waited for 2 months for a back ordered CB unit to be installed. Wanted to use my J&M headsets and had them send me the proper connectors. Soooo....had the install done last week and get home to find out that there is no round audio connector for the headsets that come with the CB kit! You have to buy the Vic headsets to get the audio connector and you cannot purchase the connector separately!!!!!!!!! My question to you: is there a fix around this that anyone can give me??? Are those connectors available elswhere???
Would appreciate any help. At around $365 for 2 headsets, I would reasonably rather keep the J&M's. Tks, Jim

Got a picture you could post? Dimensions would help, as well...

For electronic components I start with Mouser Electronics ( www.mouser.com ); they're likely to have something that will work. They even have Jones plugs, which (to the best of my knowledge) haven't been used since the late '50s!

No minimum order, shipping is actual cost.

If you do hit paydirt there, let us know...

We had our cb installed at the dealer and from what we found you do have to buy the victory headsets to get the lower cord hook up, then you can order the J & M cords to go from your J & m headset in your helmet to the bike, seems silly but we did it this way as we already had and liked our J & M elite headset, besides that our headests was only a few month old when we traded bikes and we use the nolan helmets . You can always try and sell just the victory headset and cords after you get it all , the victory stuff works fine and was very clear.

Make that $392 for the headsets, including tax. Just ordered them late today. Will make up my mind which sets I keep when I get the new ones and sell the extras. Just burns me that I Have to buy two full headsets to get two simple wires!!! Thank you all for the ideas and suggestions. Now, let's ride!

It might be possible to make your own connector, I've done it with R/C components.

But you'd have to do some research for the correct connectors, pins and wire and know how to solder.

You may also need a schematic (s).
