Default A penny saved...is gonna cost me $200+

I got me some new blinkers for the kp, I got 1 for free and the other out of parts unlimited for $25. They don't look to bad, they took some light modification to fit the kp, but all was good, got them on and was wiring them up, double checked the polarity before attaching anything for safety, tested them and left worked great. Checked right and only the front did, no biggie, pulled out the bulb and yep, the one I had found at the bottom of my toolbox was blown. This is where I screw up.... With the right blinker still going, I reach to install the new bulb, fumble it alittle and the plastic isolated + contact pops out just the tiniest bit and touches the housing and that's all she wrote.... Now neither right signal works and I'm pretty sure I need a acm....which I have to say is pretty freakin lame.

Hate to ask, but you didn't mention it, did you check the fuse?

Yes, check fuse before you spend $200 on something else. Most likely the fuse is blown, which means a few dollars at your local auto parts store.

Yes, I did, left still works tho. After a good whiskey I'm gonna go back out there and do some lookin around. Its not blinking on the dash for the right either.

Could be the switch. I would suggest swapping left and right bulbs, to further eliminate potential suspects of the issue list. See if after swapping left with right, the problem follows the bulb or remains on the same side.

Right side is wired backwards from the factory. Same thing happened to me while I was swapping my blinkers.

Nm, I lied, it is coming on at the dash, so not the switch. I wired it up right, checked it with a meter. It's smoked from me shorting it out, I'll be using hand signals for awhile lol

Default I don't think the penny had much to do with this one

I don't think the penny had much to do with this one. It appears that the "operator" of the penny may have learned a lesson though...Do'AH! Hope you get it all worked out
