Default Cycle Sounds Power Pucks

Came across these while poking around on the world wide web.

Anybody have any experience with them.
Seems interesting to me.

Looks like a good way to boost the output without an amp.

I still think it's better to go with the 6.5" speakers in the fairing and an amp though. However; my mind could be changed if I heard these and found them to be comparable.

I heard them briefly at Sturgis last summer. They did not impress me but everyone is different in that regards.

For not much more $$ you can get a Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4 amp and some real decent speakers and have much better sound!

I had a Rockford Fosgate in my car a very long time ago and the sound was great. I have never heard this particular model but I am sure that it would sound good.

Kind of figured, but thought the pucks might be an easy way out.

Thanks.

As toejam said for the difference in price probably better to go with a new amp and quality speakers.
