I found out the clutch switch on my Kingpin was malfunctioning about a mile from the dealer where I bought it, stalled out in heavy Austin Texas traffic. I had to put it in neutral to get it started. Unplugged the switch and put a jumper on the wires. That was two years ago, been working fine.

Default same POS for years

thanks, the GURU on Triumph Rat posted + showed the same switch from another of his bikes 10 yrs older, simple but not reliable + quite unnecessary IMO. at a glance it looked similar to what WAS on my bonnie, if so i will eliminate it to head off any future issues.
