Default What is missing here???

Just bought this bike a month ago (my first bike) and noticed earlier today that it appears something may have fallen off or is missing. I dont know if I purchased it this way or way but given its location I am pretty concerned that I have been driving around without whatever it is. Can someone please tell me what should occupying the silver spot on these photos. There is a threaded hole where a screw used to be and something down in the hole. Bike is a 2011 Vegas 8 Ball. Thanks!

Yep. What Josh said. All is well and normal. Take a black Sharpie to it and you won't notice it anymore.

Yep. All is good. If it makes you feel better you can stick a screw in the hole. (dang; that almost sounded like porn ) I can't really see the hole in the pics but ya; throw a screw/bolt in there if it bugs you.

Seriously; a fairly new Sharpie will make it disappear or you can use some paint and a fine brush to do it.

I just looked at my Cross Roads and that is where the negative side of the battery is grounded to. I assume that your battery is not located in the chin area?

+1 , that is what i did to mine. I was thinking I could make a wire loom "P" clip to hold the wires down that go to the regulator and dress it up a bit.

Thanks alot guys! I am very happy to know that I have not been driving around damaging my brand new bike. I already had the bad luck of picking up a nail in the rear on my second trip out and this would have added insult to injury. Thanks again for the responses. Also if anyone has any extras for my bike like Bags, Passenger seat, Pegs etc PM me your price.
