Default Cam carriers

Anyone know the difference in them. I would have thought they were all the same, but a carrier for a '12 hammer is a different pn than a '16. the '16 is also $300 cheaper

I figured it out. '12 they only offer the carrier as part of an assembly with the cam, rocker shafts, rockers....later models break it down to the component level. New carrier and rocker shaft have been ordered.

Two resources I use for parts...first is the parts look up

http://parts.polarisind.com/Advanced...ncedSearch.asp

Something I learned when I managed a parts department is to look at different year offerings. For instance, 2012 they didn't offer the cam carrier outside of buying the entire assembly. However in 2014 they have the carrier available as an assembly and stand alone...$300 difference!!

I purchase from Don Wood Victory online. My dealer and ebay motors wanted $128 for the empty carrier, $76 from these fellas online. You can also use there site for parts look up, but I prefer the Polaris site.

Hope that helps!!

I also ordered 8k of parts from DonWood .... Easy website to see if ir fits your bike or not ... Coz if you put an item in the shopping basket, and then change the year & bike for that same item then the colour changed that you already have that item .... Good stuff ...
