Default Frame Break

So I'm checking the muffler bolts for tightness and notice that the tail-up end of the right frame rail (p.n. 1016079, Weld Cradle, R/H) has severed at the spot-welded joint. Not sure whether to just remove it or replace the rail. Looks like all it does is support stock muffler and my Bassani doesn't bolt to it.

I did it like the picture below ...

Maybe you say why i left a "dildo" up and did not cut at the straight bit ?

Guess i like something different, and afterwards it was the right decision coz of scraping the road

Further examination of the section I took off looks like it was sawed off, with only a miniscule tack-weld in one spot.

See photo above, or Victory parts diagrams. Looks like it's just an extension of the frame rail for stock muffs to mount to.
