Default '00-'07 Crankcase breather mod - show em if you got em

Anyone with a pre-2008 bike take care of not having to clean the air filter by disconnecting the crankcase hose from the intake and installing a breather? Show off your hard work with some pics!

Looks like Lloyd recommends at least 12" of hose from the crankcase to the breather so once I find a breather I like I plan to keep it near the intake under the tank.

you can do it on the newer bikes too...it does create more noise when you shorten the tube and put a higher flow filter on it

Torque Tubes intake fixes that... but you can smell the vapors at stoplights in the summer.

You can be cheap an put a peace of foam on the end of the hose or
you can buy one of these.

I'm going to buy a nice breather end, just need to find the diameter of the existing hose...anyone know off the top of their head the inside diameter of the breather hose, if not I'll head out to the garage and pull it off the crankcase to measure. Was thinking about replacing the hose itself with a section of aeroquip braided stainless to match all the other lines.
