Default Speedo fault like no other

Hi all.
I have searched the forum and found plenty of speedo faults but cant find this particular fault or if it has been asked before. Apologies if it has. I tried to upload a photo but can not make it fit to required kb size so bear with my explanation.

So my speedo on my 2016 model Vegas had a hissy fit, and if you picture a clock face, the needle now sits around the 5 O'clock position as its base for zero mph/kph. It all seems to work fine its just that its way off. The needle goes up and down with accel/decel but as mentioned its base line position for zero mph/kph is closer to the 200 end than the 0 end.

It may be a freak coincidence or more than likely related to the fact that at the time it had said hissy fit and started doing this, the bike was on the dyno being tuned with the pvcx flash tuner. Could it be something with the fact the rev and speed limiters were removed/reset and the computer went nuts?.

It wont reset back to normal no matter if I turn it off and back on, disconnect the battery, and even re install old tune, also the needle no longer spins up and back down when ignition is turned on it like it used to but just sits there in that 5 o'clock position.

Tuner can't figure out or know why this happened and neither do I. Anybody had this happen to them? Anyone work at a dealer and can tell me if I take it to a dealer will it be covered by the still in date factory warranty given that it has been tuned from stock parametres?

Thanks in advance.

Thats interesting. No cant say I have ever rode the bike in the rain. Yeah at this stage I am hoping the dealer may be able to sort it out as the tuner and I are both stumped as to what happened to cause this. Thanks for the input, I might take the speedo apart and see what it looks like. Cheers
