Default Vegas Floorboard question

Hello I had 2 questions regarding converting floorboards on my Vegas to pegs and a noise coming from my primary area.

I took the floorboard off and used a passenger rear peg to see if it would work but didn't... there is no support to hold up peg straight. Has anyone had any success in putting certain pegs in the spot of the board and worked properly. If so please reference what was used. I don't like the look of the big floor boards and the whole heal toe shifter deal. Did a search already for my last resort ...... to buy the mounts and all to switch but they are pricey. Looking for something that would work.

Second I took my bike out yesterday and noticed the while shifting the gears there was a loud gear noise. I have seen vids on YouTube of it but on some it was when the clutch lever was pressed. On my it is when you barley taps the gear lever either up or down. I have to be forceful on and off it. Other than that it ride and shifts all gears great. Clutch is great. I heard and read that the torque compensator nut and clutch nuts come loose and because misaligned. People say its common but I found a vid where someone actually fixed it.Can someone point me in the right direction and the how 2s to get it right of which one require re-torqueing . Already ordering my primary gasket kit and Loctite. Thanks.

you left words out so I'll try.
For the foot pegs go to HD and tell them you want the spring washers that hold foot pegs up. Take a photo of my post to show them. The spring washers goes between peg and mount can be a bitch on some pegs to get in.
doesn't the heel shifter have two bolts on the back side to unbolt the heel part

I've bought these. Lots of places sell them, probably cheaper than a Harley store sells for. The ones I bought were like 10 per pack. Might have been kuryakyn ones. Cheap and same thing. Work dandy. I put the rounded side towards the peg itself. Thats the way stock ones were on my pegs. They will work either way.
