Default Blowing ignition fuse

2012 C. R. blew a fuse 1700 mi. ago then blew one today. 20 miles later blew one more. now blows as soon as I turn on the key. This is the 3rd time 75 mi. back to the dealer in 4200 mi.There will not be a 4th time . I love the bike but in more then 20 bikes since the 1970's I've never had to go to the dealer let alone under warr. Have had to haul it home twice. Any idea what might be wrong. Sorry for the rant.

You have a short. Sounds like it's a temporary one, getting triggered by either temperature, or something being moved to where it shorts out. The fuse blowing is just doing its job. Get a voltmeter and find out where the short is, since the dealer's not bright enough to do this.

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Thanks . The dealer has'nt worked on this problem before. A short for sure and the good news is its constant now so should be able to find it now. This is the 3rd seperate problem. And twice I had to haul it home and then to the dealer. Just not happy for now. But the dealer seems good and has been great.

I had the same thing happen within 500 miles ,until the dealer found out the main breaker came apart in his hand when he was checking it. It probably got hit by a rock. Have your dealer check it out. I have 13000 on a 2012 now, and NOT 1 issue.
great bike but frustrating at first.
