Cool I need some sound...

I have a 2009 Victory Vegas and I'd like to make it a little louder. Is there a way to modify the stock pipes/exhaust and get a little more thump out of it?
I don't have the cash to get after market pipes at the moment so I thought I'd see if anyone has come up with a good way to do it without major side effects to my motor.
I've considered trimming down the baffles.

Any other ideas out there?

I'm sure this has been asked a few times but I couldn't find a thread answering my question when I searched.

Your comments are appreciated.

I think you can drill out the exhaust. You can also take the baffles out and remove the cat cons.

Thanks for the advice. Do you know if removing the cat cons will effect performance much?

Removing the cat cons won't affect performance but if you remove the whole baffle you will loose bottom end HP and TQ.

The cat con has one weld that you can break with a screwdriver and hammer. Then slide it out.

What about pulling the baffles out of aftermarket pipes?

Running straight pipes just looses low end doesn't matter the brand.
