Default 2004 victory kingpin fuel tuning/mapping

Have 2004 kingpin with drag pipes.
Want to tune it, looks like there's no power commander for it.
Want to know what tuner/mapper is best and what air box to use.

Power commander does make a unit for that bike.
Why do you want to tune it - is it "out of tune"?

Straight pipes and it pops on decel, stock air box I think it could run better. It backfires once in while when I start it.
By tuning I mean either remapping computer or using a fuel injector controller to improve performance. At least this my understanding of the different after market controllers.

Straight pipes without baffles are going to pop no matter what.

If it has baffles, the stg1 map that should've been installed should make it run pretty good. Its pretty uncommon for an 04 with decent pipes and a stock airbox to pop alot.

Guess my point is I'd hate to see you waste $500-600 on a Powercommander and tune if some simple maintainence (fixing air leaks, cleaning tb's, etc) or a $150 download will cover your problems. Don't mask a problem with more parts unless you know you really need it.

Also, if you come to that point, a Lloydz VFCIII is more economical than a PC for your mild combo.
