Default Brake Lurch

OK I looked and did not see another post on this so here goes, sorry if I missed one...

I have a 99 V92c and just put new brake pads on this week. Took a little test ride and all was good. Next day I rode it to work and on the way home I noticed a clicking from the front brake, it was regular and increased/decreased with speed. Depressing the brake it went away. Today I put it up on the lift spun the tire and no click. So I cleaned up the rotors, checked the fluid and took it out for a ride.Front brake grabs really bad now (unevenly), it lurches to the point of instability. The click returned intermittently.

Any ideas what I did wrong?
