Default Lowering - Exhaust gasket Question

Just put on some very nice lowering links from Cycleopsusa.com....

I am having trouble grinding down the blot boss on the primary sprocket cover with a dremel (have belt rub).

My question is....

If I pull the exhaust off to get the primary sprocket cover off to grind that bolt boss and cut the first inch off of the belt guard off, do I need to use new exhaust gaskets at the head?

Thanks!

I would find out if the dealer has the gaskets in stock if they do pull your cover and then you need a gasket you know what to do.
Don't assume your dealer does and same for don't assume you can put the old ones back in.
