I've checked the battery amps when it hits past 2000 rmp's the battery reads past 17 amps. Could that be the problem??
I am unsure where the screw fell out.

Any assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Are all of the battery terminals tight? If so I would do a search and find for the place that the screw goes.

Are you saying it fell off the controller or are you assuming it came from the VFC?

You say a screw fell off and thats when the trouble started. Seems pretty simple that you need to find where that screw goes and put it back.
