Default Cutting the turn-out off of a sideburner?

I like the way the hard krome sideburner sounds but hate the way it looks. I'm considering buying one and cutting off all or most of the turn-out (cleanly).

Does anyone know how far back the baffle goes?

Whatever works for you. Chrome is almost impossible to cut without messing up. Even coated ceramic stuff doesn't cut well. You'd probably have to have it coated again.
