Default Working on the suspension link.

On a kingpin, I'm looking at either greasing or replacing the bushing for the rear suspension link. Do I have to support the rear tire from dropping or jack it up for Some pressure?

The weight of the bike has to be off the suspension but the rear tire will still be on the ground. If you jack it up too much, you will be picking up the weight of the swing arm and rear wheel. You have to find that sweet spot where they links will slide right off. You will want to jack it up under the frame of the bike.

Default bushing-needle bearings

when i installed my penske shock on my 13 hammer i noticed the needle bearing "bushing" WHOA glad they were all there tightly packed in, added a little amsoil synthetic grease on reinstallation. i do not think they are highly stressed!
