Default Clutch replacement 08 vision [barnett]

Has anybody replaced their own clutch on a 2008 or 2009 Vic 106?
As I am reading the service manual, it states to replace the "FRICTION WASHER" from clutch shaft as new one must be installed on assembly..... Now the 2010's came with this washer but the 2008 , 2009 must not have. SO, I didn't order one, I don't have one but could get one if I feel like waiting but and this is the question, What difference will it make as my bike didn't come with it and will it make it in any way better?

And to think I ordered new Clutch Hub Nut and Washer and Judder spring and spring seat and gasket and seal and all the other parts I would need but never saw mention of this friction washer until now....

Also, for anybody doing your own clutch rebuild, I was checking out the parts the Barnett kit came with and the instructions and I saw the Judder spring seat and the judder spring diaphragm but when I took mine apart I was missing the Judder spring seat and I had actually started putting clutch back together. I thought it maybe was never there and that was why clutch was slipping but I took it apart again and ran a magnet down around inside clutch basket and somehow even though I thought I had removed all the parts, the Judder Spring Seat was stuck to bottom of basket and almost overlooked. I don't know what happens when two are installed and glad I didn't have to find out. It just pays to take your time and pay extra attention.

Keep fishing... either the "friction washer" or parts thereof are in there somewhere.

New Barnett Clutch Fiber and Steels and OEM Pressure Plate and Diaphragm Spring along with New Fastening Hardware and 4.5 Quarts of Amsoil and New Oil Filter and Wow, What a difference. Bike hooks up and pulls like it should. No more clutch slipping at WOT in 3,4,5 and 6 gears. This is definitely a nice easy bike to work on. Glad I bought the service manual...
