Default Cruise Control for a 2010 Crossroads install

I have a 2010 Crossroads, and need to add cruise to it. I tried ordering one from the "Pure Polaris" site, but after over a month, and many calls to their customer service line, I was assured that the order will just not get filled. They told me it was availabe, but it just "wouldn't ship". I was told to re-order through my local dealer. At any rate, I will do just that. I plan on installing the cruise myself, as I imagine it is just a plug and play. Has anyone done his? -----Helipro

look on you tube or do a search here .
I'm sure your half right with plug and play. Your going to have to remove the faring and the gas tank and side cover to do your instal.
You might even need a new throttle cable if yours doesn't have the cruse connection in it. I hope you have as service manual at your side to do the job.
Good Luck

I am sure I will have to remove the tank, and there is no fairing on a Crossroads. I am buying a Victory cruise for this year and model, so no need for new cables. I did do a search here, that is why I posted. There is nothin that showed up for "cruise install", and "cruise" only showed things that don't pertain to installing on this bike.

I have cruise control installation instructions they are for a Vegas but from what i understand when I got this the Vegas has factory wiring the same as the Vision. I did not do the installation the dealer did, I just asked for the instructions so I do have them and can fax them to you, obviously it won't be exactly what you need but might give you an idea what you are up against. PM me if you would like to see them

Ok I have attached the max of 5 pages I have sent many attachements but this is my first attempt on this site i hit the attachment button and attached however I am not confident they are ther if these show up I will attach the remaining 3 or 4 pages i have. The pages were faxed to me so they aren't the best. Hopefully your better at this than I am an can enlarge them so you can read them.

On another note, it is my wifes motorcycle, while I know it is not a real difficult to use the cruise, a question I have is there a user manual for the cruise, the installation instructions i am sending has the basics but she would like more detailed instructions
