Default Raw Gas smell on new 2012 XCT

Picked up my new 2012 XCT yesterday. Haven't put but about 39 miles on it. When pull up to stop light or when I park it, I get a little smell of gas. Can't find anything leaking. The gas tank is about 1/2 full. Any ideas????

Yep. Do a search and you'll find pictures and posts on the vent line under the seat that needs to be detached and re-routed, or have the dealer do it. It's a vapor lock and Victory knows about it and claims they will let dealer do it on those affected. 10 minute fix.

This is one of a few questions that are constantly asked. If ever there was a FAQ made, there'd be less band width wasted.

When I had my 500 mile service on my XCT 2wks ago, the tech showed me the split vent line and did what everyone else has done. He just lengthened the one line and ran it away from the seat. No more gas smell
