Default How to remove heated grips

Preparing to install 2" SRVT pull back bars. Fairing and all done, handlebar end cap is off, set screw( torx) removed. How the heck ....do you remove the heated grip, please??

Looks like this might be the hardest part of the new bar install

Thanks!

NEVER MIND! There are 2 torx screws holding them on!

In the past when I wanted to save the grips I was removing, I would stick a small screw driver in between the handle bar and grip in 2 spots and insert a spray nozzle of silicone or WD40 and spray. Let sit a minute and twist to remove. I think the same would apply for heated grips, just make sure to wipe the inside free of any lubricant before reinstalling.
