Question Vic swept pipes turning Blue?

Hi,

Anyone else have an issue with blue pipes behind heat shields? Is this normal? Could this be a symptom of running too lean?

Yeah but...it's a pretty blue, isn't it?

All exhaust header pipes have been turning blue for the last forty years. There is stuff out there to take the bluing away but it will come back in no time.

VJ, it was happening long before that. I had the same bluing on a bike back in '68, that would be 46 years ago, and when I spoke to other riders back then they told me it was quite normal. Had to speak with them because there was no internet.

Present ride - 2013 Victory Vision, black, ATW at +3, Lloydz air filter and adjustable intake, PC5, 30,xxx miles
