Default V92C with Headlight in Fairing

I'm seriously considering putting a fairing on my '99 V92C that has a headlight in it. This means that I'd need another way to mount the gauge.

Have any of you relocated your gauge to a mounting plate? I've seen a few that may work, but my search of the forums hasn't found any threads on the topic.

The fairing in question is the Don Vesco, Rabid Transit. I think I can get it to fit without doing irreparable damage. I saw a picture of one on a large V-Twin, and I thought it looked pretty classy with the smooth curvy lines. Even if I can get it mounted, I need to find a slick way to mount the round multi-gauge. What I don't want is a Rat-bike kind of look.
