Just wanted to say thanks for the direction on this. Picked up an Arlen Ness K&N Big Sucker kit to replace the stock air. In work on installing it now (old one out) and not sure where I read about using the dremmel tool with a sheetrock bit to cut the old out I wanted to say thanks! What a life saver... It would have taken me hours with the flat cut bit. No nics and contained most of the mess.
Also, on the performance side. My local dealer put it on the reader and I found that at some point the bike had the stage one flashed already and pipes added either from purchase or after so no cost to me out of pocket there.
Reinstalling old sensors and putting housing on tonight after work tonight so if there was anything else I should be doing other than cleaning the quads, please post.
Thanks again for the help Vicbuilder, ftwflh and others that posted/PMed! Can't wait to get it on the road tomorrow A.M.
