No idea how durable this particular product is but as is true of any chrome job you had better start out with a perfectly smooth / polished surface with no defects or it will turn out looking like sh*t.

It is actually a 'mirror coating' process that has been used for many many years on glass products to make "mirrors"! for bathrooms, vanities, cabinets, wall mirrors, mirror tiles etc.

The process is a wet procedure that is the safest use of products around and can be used on just about any surface you put it on, especially plastics. It should be clear coated after the 'mirror' application as it will scratch if not. When used on glass from the back side you obviously dont need anything to cover it.

The clear coating can also be tinted to any color you want and thats where you see the dynamic colors it provides. Its like anodizing without the expense or chemical issues!

The clear coat can be polished out just like paint.

GOOD input,

so it looks like it is much easier to apply on brake calipers / aluminium rims / swing arms / brackets / side covers / tank strap bolt covers

even if it scratches, then it seems obvious just to re-silver / paint them again.....

That picture is soooooo cooooollllllll hahahah man that is funny
